I offer specialized tutoring for the SAT, ACT, MCAT, USMLE. I have tutored since high school and have experience with tutoring at high school and college level. My goals with your sessions are to increase your study efficiency. Before our first session, I like to establish a study schedule and create goals that you would like to achieve. During our sessions, we will review difficult problems, previous examinations, and concepts. I like to focus on a student's weakness and tailor my lessons based on student feedback / direction. Additionally, I will give you resources I have accumulated during my studies for your review. We will periodically assess your progress through practice examinations. Monthly, I like my students to give feedback to determine what we may need to alter to best promote your learning. About myself, I am a medical resident who is passionate about education. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from college. I scored in the top percentile of the ACT exam and the top 10% of the medical licensing exams (USMLE 1, USMLE 2CK). I have tutored group sessions for Calculus and Chemistry at the college level. I have tutored individuals at the high school level for Chemistry, Trigonometry and Physics. I primarily focus on test preparation and believe that test success comes from diligence, as such I set up schedules with each of my students so that we can keep each other accountable.
