Service Description

I experienced the Ray Dass PSAT/SAT Preparatory program throughout high school, becoming a National Merit Finalist and scoring a 2390 on my SAT examination. I took over 10 AP Exams, including exams in Psychology, US History, World History, European History, Comparative Government, US Government, English Language and Composition, and English Literature and Composition—of which I scored 5s on all exams. I also achieved near perfect scores on the corresponding SAT Subject tests, which were offered during my application process.

About Me

I entered Columbia University in 2015 with no prior experience of Latin or Ancient Greek for my major of Classics. After intensive and simultaneous study of Latin and Greek, I am currently focusing my academic studies upon Latin Elegiac and Tragic poetry, as well as the interdisciplinary study of Digital Humanities (utilizing Python, C, C++) in relation to Classical texts and the hagiographical texts of Late Antiquity. I'm a devoted tutor with a history of Latin language and History tutoring, including leading study groups for the AP exams in European History, World History, US History, Comparative Government, English Language and Composition, and English Literature and Composition. I maintain a 3.8 GPA at Columbia University after receiving National Merit for PSAT and a 2390 on the SAT examination—and I can offer help in College Prep studies including precise tailoring of the Common Application to best create a narrative for a student's success in College Admissions as well as basic SAT and PSAT tutoring. As somebody who has gone through two entire language learning processes in a very short timespan, I feel that I am equipped to empathize with any students who desire to grasp and understand concepts for which they have been dismissed thus far. I believe anybody can learn and improve their academic study and intellect with the proper guidance of a caring and devoted tutor.
