Service Description
I will work with your child to learn Italian in the most fun way possible. While we can focus on your child's homework, I believe that language learning is only happening if it is happening in the target language and it is as fun as possible.
I've also watched quite a number of Italian language movies and television which is the best resource available.
Your child should plan on sending me their assignments by cell phone via pictures as soon as possible so I can brush up on any specific grammar used in their homework.
Finally, I also have a large number of books from beginner to advanced reinforcement of existing vocabulary and acquisition of new words.
I would also be available for supplemental conversational time at a reduced rate.
About Me
I have been to Italy 9 times and I have been learning Italian on my own and in the classroom for over 15 years.
In 2016 I passed a C1 exam in Rome, giving me a C1 certification (advanced/fluent) which is typically the minimum requirement to work for a company in Italian, attend a university in Italian, or teach the language to foreigners.
Most of my learning happened through conversations with Italians, listening to Italian music that was at or above my level, and watching American movies dubbed into Italian with Italian subtitles.
