Service Description
I grew up speaking Spanish and English simultaneously. I have been teaching Spanish in middle school, high school, and college for over 10 years. I am certified as a K-12 teacher in Texas and Colorado. According to The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) and my experience as a Spanish Teacher, I can teach Spanish to learners in the Novice Low to Superior High levels. I love teaching Spanish and everything that encompassed it (history, folkore, etc.) I would like to teach others Spanish through listening (with comprehensible input), speaking, reading, or writing (grammar centered). About Me
My name is Brenda. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I am bi-cultural with dual citizenship who has traveled all over the Northern Continent. I love travelling mainly to different regions in Mexico. I have a B.A. in in Spanish with a minor in Education, a M.A in Spanish, an MBA, and a Doctorate in Education with an emphasis on Organizational Leadership. My success has been defined by my ability to adapt to any situation and being able to experience age groups from 6 through 80 years of age in several teaching environments.
