Experienced Spanish Teacher Spanish I & II

Hola! I know exactly how you feel being a first time Spanish learner. I too, learned Spanish from nothing almost 10 years ago when I first began my journey. English is my first language, and for many such as myself - I prefer having a teacher that speaks my own language as I can explain things in ways that you will understand. From my travels in Latin America and Spain, I can also tell you a lot about words only used in certain countries and different accents and cultures. My teaching philosophy is getting you speaking as soon as possible by teaching you the most useful Spanish and the things you NEED to know to build a foundation in the Spanish language and to become successful at whatever your goals are with the language. I believe in using modern content and an approach that applies to ALL learning types and styles (online, video, games, cards, you name it). We will first figure out what kind of learner you are as this is very important for learning a foreign language. I want to maximize your time with me by personalizing the assignments I give you that go with your learning style. I want to give you the most bang for your buck. My passion is to get people first INTERESTED in learning the language and making it something that we enjoy doing rather than hating... I don't know about you - but I did not like most of my Spanish teachers! I want to change the way we view learning a language and turn it into a positive experience and... FUN!!!
