Having acquired basic French grammar, composition and conversation skills, spent Jr. year of college (Bowdoin) in Paris, followed by 3 months working in Francophone Switzerland (Valois - Zermatt).
Subsequently scored "5" (Native Speaker) in Foreign Service Language Exam.
Post-college graduation (double major cum laude in English and Romance Languages) spent 3 yrs w/Peace Corps in Francophone W. Africa using French as primary language.
After 30+ career in Int'l Finance (inc. acquiring NW MBA at night while working full time), retired and entered CLC TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages [ =ESL - English as a Second Language]] program.
Obtained TESOL certificate cum laude 2015 and embarked on 2nd career as ESL Tutor.
