Licensed Teacher Offering Tutoring Services

Hello! My name is Maddlyn and I have my Master's in Education from Johns Hopkins University. I am a licensed 6-12 teacher and have worked in the general education, special education, and English language learner (ELL) settings. This school year, I had a Fulbright fellowship in Madrid, Spain, where I was working at a private school. However, given the situation with COVID-19, the program sent us back to the US. So here I am now, a teacher without any students! I have tutored many students in the past, usually connecting through care.com or through school directly. I enjoy working with students in small group and one-on-one settings to make sure they get the support and attention they need and deserve! I've tutored many clients, ranging from fourth through twelfth grade, in math, English, science, Spanish, social studies/history, as well as test prep and study habits/skills. One of my recent tutoring clients was named "most improved student" in their sixth grade math class. With the current school closures, I am equally happy to provide support where needed with current school work or create new content for any enrichment and/or remedial needs. Feel free to contact me.
